Stability Test Chamber
Semiconductor bidirectional temperature control, fog-free humidity and adjustable white/UV light — meeting ICH Q1A/Q1B and Chinese Pharmacopoeia long-term, accelerated and stress studies at only 200–600 W operating power.
Purpose | What it does for you
Designed for long-term stability testing of pharmaceuticals, samples and other products under controlled temperature, humidity and lighting. Complies with the Chinese Pharmacopoeia, ICH Q1A and Q1B (Option 2) stability guidelines, and stability requirements for food, cosmetics and related products. Compared with compressor-based cooling, the semiconductor approach cuts energy use dramatically (200–600 W operating power), is refrigerant-free and more environmentally friendly — ideal for stability labs running around the clock.
Key Features
- Semiconductor bidirectional temperature control (no compressor, no refrigerant) with far lower energy use
- Fog-free humidity control: zoned control plus built-in patented device, no fogging even at high RH
- Built-in circulating water tank with periodic cleaning; water-shortage monitoring and alarm
- Stepless 0–10,000 Lux lighting with built-in white light and UV-A
- Anti-condensation tempered glass door with electric lock and authorised access control
- Over-temperature and over-humidity protection plus authorised data export for audit trails
- 10.3-inch automotive-grade colour touchscreen; optional IQ/OQ/PQ validation and third-party calibration
Operating Principle
The control chamber and sample chamber are spatially separated and balanced, with semiconductor bidirectional heating/cooling and internal air circulation for temperature control. A built-in patented humidity device delivers fog-free humidity with no consumables. LED white light (D65, 6500 K) and UV-A lamps (320–400 nm) are built into the stainless steel chamber with stepless 0–10,000 Lux adjustment. High-precision imported sensors monitor continuously, and a colour touchscreen sets parameters and reviews historical data.

Frequently Asked Questions
How reliable is semiconductor temperature control over long runs compared with a compressor?
Semiconductor control has no moving parts and no refrigerant, so failure points are far fewer than in compressor systems, with an MTBF of about one year; the instrument carries a 1-year warranty plus lifetime maintenance. Energy use is also far lower, making the electricity saving over years of continuous operation substantial.
Do you provide IQ/OQ/PQ validation?
Yes. We deliver IQ/OQ/PQ documentation and on-site validation services, plus optional third-party calibration certificates. The touchscreen controller supports calibration adjustment at three customisable temperature/humidity setpoints, facilitating periodic verification per pharmaceutical SOPs.
Does LabStone support OEM/ODM and customised instruments?
Yes. Standard models ship as-is, while chamber count, specimen size, fixtures, temperature range and software modules (including the GMP Computerized System module) can be tailored to your SOP and URS. IQ/OQ/PQ validation documentation packages are available.
What is the typical lead time, and how is shipping handled?
Standard models usually ship in 4–8 weeks; customised builds depend on the agreed scope. Instruments are packed in export wooden cases and can move by sea, air or rail. We supply proforma invoice, packing list and certificate of origin (CO / Form E), and work under EXW, FOB, CIF or DAP terms.
How are installation, training and calibration handled after delivery?
We provide remote installation guidance, bilingual (Chinese/English) manuals and video training; on-site commissioning by our engineers is available. Users can self-calibrate with standard weights, reference films or calibrated leak standards, and third-party calibration certificates can be supplied.
What is the warranty, and how are spare parts supplied?
The instrument carries a 12-month warranty from acceptance plus lifetime maintenance support. Consumables (molecular sieve, desiccant, sealing grease, printer paper) are kept in long-term stock, and key components are international brands available worldwide. We respond to technical enquiries within 24 hours.
Do the instruments comply with ASTM, ISO and pharmacopoeia standards?
Yes. Every instrument lists its applicable standards on the specification page (ASTM, ISO, GB, YBB, Chinese Pharmacopoeia, USP, EP, JIS, DIN, TAPPI and more). The software outputs raw records and reports suitable for audit trails, with an optional GMP / FDA 21 CFR Part 11 compliance module.
Which languages does the software support, and can it integrate with a LIMS?
The software ships with Chinese and English interfaces; other languages can be added on request. Data export is available over RS232, USB, Ethernet or Wi-Fi, and reports can be exported to Excel, PDF or structured files for LIMS integration.
